Summary:
This role will work closely with the accounting department to deliver critical insights that drive operational and financial decision-making across the organization. With over 1,500 employees across 24 states and multiple lines of business, the Financial Analyst will partner with stakeholders throughout the company to analyze performance data, review accounts, and provide timely and actionable information to Accounting Managers and the Controller.
In addition, this position will take a lead role in supporting the financial operations of our vending segment, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and scalability as the business grows. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to streamline financial processes and enhance visibility into key performance metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze trends and performance metrics to identify discrepancies, opportunities, and actionable insights for leadership.
- Support leadership with ad hoc financial analysis to inform strategic and operational decisions.
- Partner with Accounting and Operations to confirm alignment between system data, financial records, and contractual terms.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline vending financial processes.
- Support the ongoing enhancement of reporting tools and dashboards to improve data accessibility and usability.
- Coordinate updates and data consistency between Operations, Sales, and Accounting teams.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and report outcomes to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or operations support (vending, retail, or distribution industry experience preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and reconcile complex data sets.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- High level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related financial programs.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
