Onsite Office Coffee Attendant

Summary: An Onsite Office Coffee Attendant at American Food & Vending will transform the workplace and offer a superior coffee experience. This role involves managing office coffee services, maintaining equipment, ensuring quality beverages, and fostering a culture of community through premium coffee offerings. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and distribution of coffee and other beverages, ensuring high-quality standards are consistently met.
• Must be mechanically inclined to be able to monitor, clean, and maintain large, touch screen coffee machine, grinders, hoppers and other related elements to ensure optimal performance and hygiene.
• Maintain cleanliness of coffee/service areas, remove trash, and keep supplies well stocked.  
• Track supplies such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, and disposables; coordinate with vendors to restock as needed.
• Collaborate with office management and staff to offer beverage options, solutions tailored to employee preferences.
• Educate clients and staff on coffee preparation techniques and machine usage when necessary.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive coffee-station environment, encouraging employees to connect and unwind.
• May be assigned other duties and responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a barista or coffee-related role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of coffee brewing techniques and high-tech coffee equipment.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair basic coffee machine issues.
• Professional demeanor, effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for coffee and creating positive experiences for others.
• Ability to work effectively and enthusiastically in a fast-paced environment, high volume service, and enjoy daily customer contact.
• This position requires lifting 50lbs, bending, walking, climbing stairs, and standing for scheduled shift.
